Sitting positioning is a critical area of rehabilitation, with a direct impact on functionality, the prevention of secondary complications and the quality of life of people with motor disabilities. This workshop will present the principles of assessment and seat selection, aiming to improve posture, functionality, and enhancing autonomy and quality of life.
Participants will learn:
• the basic criteria for selecting a seat and seating system,
• examples of ergonomic solutions and personalized interventions,
• the role of the interdisciplinary team (physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, caregivers),
• practical guidelines and examples from daily clinical practice.
