The workshop is inspired by the musical theatre performance “Mix, Max, Mex”, a project carried out in collaboration with different organisations on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (2023). Theatre has been an important element of the philosophy of the Ark’s intervention since the beginning of its operation (2000). The aim of the workshop is to share this synthesis, the therapeutic act and theatre. Together, we will recreate the experience of integrating theatre practices into the physiotherapy programme. More specifically, during the workshop we will come into contact with the important dynamics that develop between therapeutic practice and the arts:
– in the way in which the theatrical role is part of the therapeutic goal setting,
– in how the therapeutic intervention shapes the theatrical role and also
– in the way in which the theatre harmonizes with the therapeutic tools.
In addition, the aim of the workshop is to communicate the value of motivation.
How and to what extent the theatrical role and participation significantly encourage more effective engagement in the therapeutic intervention both from the side of the child and from the side of the therapist.
We invite you to “climb to the highest branches” to see and experience together a different approach to the connection of therapeutic practice and the arts and inclusion.
Participants are limited – book yours today so that we can share a different experience with you.
